The region design will be simplified. Places like Mt. Coronet and Stark Mountain will be gutted.
The soundtrack will be done by Shota Kageyama, as he's been in charge of the previous two remakes' soundtracks so far; both ORAS and LGPE.
Many of the improvements from Platinum that could've been carried over will not happen. You will get the original Sinnoh dex from DP, and you'll get no Battle Frontier, no Global Terminal, and no revised plot involving Giratina. But it will be involved in the postgame, and likely be responsible for being able to catch all the legendaries you want in the postgame through portals.
Many characters will get redesigned. Some will be better, and some will be worse. Some character personalities will get reworked or changed.
Many of the things from Sinnoh that could've been improved upon will be kept the same for "nostalgia"
