The games have always been SHIT, ashnime was the only saving grace of the franchise (outside of Gen 5, when it was the opposite).
Irrelevant "new mainline games" will be bought by a bunch of shills on day 1 and then forgotten almost immediately. Gachashit and side trash are the future of this "gaming franchise", Nothing left to care for about Pokemon.

No, before Gen 5 the games were all uphill while the anime was a pure cashgrab.

A cashgrab they couldn't even stick to their own guns about since they said Ash would fuck off if he won so he never would.
