How the fuck do you "properly adapt" a turn-based RPG?

The main anime is about as close as you can get to a proper adaptation of the games. When the source material is baby's first RPG, a lot of liberties have to be taken.

Origins did it right, though it was quite rushed. My best guess is that you need to make it something along the lines of Jojo, where you need to shift your entire cast every season, and create proper storylines for each region. In this point, PokeSpe makes it easier with the way it deals with each region and its storyline. It doesn't mean that the story is good, tho.

Why would someone even want a proper adaptation of the mainline game? The ashnime already has a bad habit of pausing the action to clue the viewers in on mechanics that they already know. Origina and Generations didn't "do it right". They just isolated a handful of events from the games. There's not nearly enough adaptable content to warrant more than half a season.

All the actual progression and raising Pokemon without a bunch of retarded made up filler that doesn't fucking matter or flesh out the world in any way unlike how what I just posted literally referring to both Mauville and Mossdeep as actual cities in a world with actual life and secrets like Deoxys that aren't supposed to be known for whatever shady reasons? I fucking hate gen 4, though. Luckily more people are starting to realize what a bad gen it was, from Pokemon to human designs, everything.
