The dex cut was obviously because of Pokémon camp having so many interactions and animations for each individual Pokémon that they couldn’t add them all and create new ones in time for release

Models are the same, Textures are different, animation is the same. There is no excuse for them not to besides another ploy in making you buy a pokemon game because it has your favorite pokemon in it. Its a marketing scheme really.
