Why did they abandon the original lore idea of the Pokemon world being the real world except pokemon started appearing in it recently? The idea that the pokemon essentially started outcompeting regular animals and that's why we never see real-world animals around any more? The lore was so much more interesting and thought-provoking back then, before all the stupid Pokegod bullshit.
