Well, they will be. That's not an "if". Pokemon's built on decades of legacy code, so they'll have all the existing gameplay data for every Pokemon present for the same reason as having every item since X&Y.
The question is whether that data's updated to match changes in the new generation, and what they do about graphical data for the event where someone edits them in.

I neither hate or like the game. It's not out yet so I can't play it to judge it, combined with the fact that when it does come out I don't plan to buy it. Maybe I'll give it a go if a friend has it but otherwise I have no high negative or positive opinion on it and I probably never will. It's nothing to me.

Cringe. /vp/ was saying for months that LGPE would flop because it was too expensive and didnt appeal enough to normies, or the core audience. It still sold rediculously well, far exceeding /vp/s expectations. /vp/ also said it would be easy babby shit, when it actually ended up being a mostly 1:1 remake that actually INCREASED levels and expanded on movesets to add challenge. (Bosses with Mega's, Misty using Scald, etc)
