Let's compile a list of every possible feature we can think of that was nerfed/removed on the transition between gens (as well as enhanced games). Feel free to discuss, criticise any suggestions and obviously to suggest as many as you can. When we reach Gen 3, we can also compare remakes to their originals.

Gen II to Gen III:
>Removal of morning/day/night visuals.
>Removal of Pokémon animations (but restored by Emerald)
>Removal of PokéGear (but Match Call is restored by Emerald)

RSE are harder for me to identify, but I’m sure they’re fake too. Emerald should be darker, and Sapphire looks too nice. Ruby might be real, but I dont know for certain.
