I'm not buying sword and shield and I'm probably not going to buy another pokemon game. The only time I could see myself buying a pokemon game is if they made an HD port of platinum for the switch. They don't even have to include all of the pokemon, just make platinum with the first 4 generations of pokemon available and that's it. Just give me platinum with overworld encounters, following pokemon, no HMs, and not a single feature from platinum cut (i.e. Battle Frontier, Underground, Poffin Making). That's literally all I want and then I'll buy the game. I know that's probably too much to ask from the retarded developers at gamefreak, but maybe they can put two collective braincells together for once and port a 10+ year old game.
