There aren't countless youtube channels and twitters and interviewers and shit waging a campaign to fix this issues. It's just a handful of people who get the issues downplayed or ignored by shills and it's been that way for most of the series existence.

2.changes the competitive meta/"shakes it up" more than simply adding more pokemon and moves would alone. Competitive is cancer anyway.
3. takes up less dev time.
>The competitive metas will get stale as fuck due to the lack of viable mons.The ubers are going to be the most likely to get cut. The game isn't going to have legendary's from every game.
