What are some pokemon you've never used that you hope to use on your story teams someday?

I gotta say Crustle, Klinklang, Clefable, Steelix, Azumarill, Zoroark, and Shiinotic are the only ones I can think of.

Pic related is one of my favorites. But Horsea is typically a mid-to-late-game 'mon, and Dragon Scales aren't easy to come across. By the time I could get a Kingdra, there's usually other Water 'mons available.

Milotic and Braviary are the main ones.
I don't like Sun and Moon very much, but if I ever do get around to replaying them I'd love to use A-Ninetails, Golisopod and Lurantis.

I'll counteract this post by saying that Golisopod was one of my favorite team members when I played through Sun. His ability is really not a big deal at all when you're playing in-game against the retarded AI. But he's a real powerhouse with all that physical attack and all those priority moves at his disposal, and with plenty of healing items at your disposal, there's no downside to using Emergency Exit as an opportunity to land more First Impressions.

i've had skarmory be planned for a story team twice and both times i use something that uses one of it's types or i have a good enough team that it can't fit in, hopefully it's in swsh (if not, i guess corviknight is a good substitute).

Crustle is good as an HM user and in battle it can dish out some hard hitting moves and has solid defense but it doesn't have the bulkiest typing so you'll want to cover its weaknesses.

I’d still really like to use Shedinja and Barbaracle in a game, but Shedinja hasn’t really been playable in a while, especially without focus sash, and I’ve never been able to slot Barbaracle onto a team without throwing off the balance. I’d also like to use Beeheyem and Escavalier at some point too, just on account of their designs.

Yeah, Nincada is hard to work with early on, especially since one of his evos works better as a baton passer than an attacker. I think the lack of good bug type moves and not having shadow sneak also kind of hurts him in that game. It sucks because he’s a really unique mon with a cool aesthetic, but it’s really difficult to find a proper place to use him in the main story.

Huge Power is one of Azumarill's standard abilities, though. You could catch an Azurill just outside of Santalune Forest in X or Y and have a 50% shot at a OU-certified beatstick with three perfect IVs and a 90 BP Physical STAB at level 21.

Crustle is pretty good, but to me Dwebble was an amazing early mon. I used one in my playthrough of Alpha Saphire and smack down + sand tomb was pretty fun.
