>>40221380Wow, 48 in total mega evolutions just in XY/ORAS, a span of merely ~1 year between these games. Even though Gen 6 introduced the smallest amount of "new" pokemon (according to pokedex numbers) and it felt cut short due to the lack of Pokemon Z version, I still have to tip my hat to the implementation of megas.
Some people dislike that different megas "outclass" each other, but yeah, that applies to regular pokemon as well. Some pokemon are better than others, not everything can be OU power house. But megas did great to revive a variety of dead mons, especially stuff that otherwise doesn't evolve at all like Pinsir, Heracross, Absol, Sableye, Mawile, megas are going to be missed.
