For me it was the Sinnoh one. Especially that Alakazam that used Recover all the time.

johto because they were all easy on every playthrough, except 2 times:
one in crystal where karens AI glitched and let her attack 3 times in a row without me being able to select anything
and once in heartgold, where i was rushing through the game so i could transfer gen 3 to gen 5, and my only strong pokemon were typhlosion and ho-oh and i couldn't hit karens houndoom for shit
i just hate karen at this point

Probably Emerald's, only due to the fact that I was a dipshit kid and it was my first Pokemon game where I somewhat knew what to do. I specifically remember Phoebe and Drake giving me the most trouble.

it was a glitch with pursuit that apparently happens very rarely and probably because of old cartridge shenanigans
i went to switch pokemon, she used pursuit, it hit, my pokemon didn't switch, and then i couldn't make any moves at all until she attack 2 more times and killed my pokemon so i could switch for real
fucking rage inducing

Shauntel's rematch team in BW. Just her. We were both on our last Pokémon and her Chandelure outsped my Samurott and could take him out in two Fire Blasts. I remember being forced to just let her knock him out so I could revive my Liepard and he could outspeed and KO it with a Night Slash.
