>>40245987Ashe's post-attack animation when he uses a bow is to place his remaining arrow back into the quiver. Following the timeskip Ashe's quiver moves from his upper back to his waist however he still retains the same animation. The arrow disappears into nothing against his jacket. It's very sloppy and any amount of QC should have caught it. This isn't the only awkward animation, or graphical quirk in the game. There's quite a lot of them. Why is it forgivable for this game that was delayed in order to fix animations and other details such as this able to get a pass due to it's gameplay but not Pokemon, which has a battle system most players enjoy?
I like FE3H a lot, and I'm not trying to sound like a Gamefreak shill either because I have issues with what we've seen for SS. I'm not even calling you specifically out. It's this specific comparison that bothers me. I've noticed recently anons will praise it on /vp/ as an example Gamefreak should live by, they get called out as someone points out the games many flaws or presentation issues like it's terrible framedrop, the hideous monastery, or the massive amounts of reused maps and it gets shrugged aside with "But it's good"
It's so disgustingly hypocritical and disingenuous. And you can't even fall back on "Well it was just a small team" because Three Houses had a rather large team just like SS did. I've seen this shit so many times in the last few weeks. Why can one game have the presentation of a piece of dog shit and be considered good in spite of it, while another that is arguably better polished but still ugly is irredeemable as a result of said presentation?
I genuinely do not understand. Do people not see their own hypocrisy?
