We still have a few hours, but since nothing will change until then, I give my verdict:
This live show is likely to greatly aggravate the controversy that revolves around the game.

It was a very promising idea and it would have been so easy and much smarter if they could have made all the pokémon that we will find in Glimwood Tangle appear with a good frequency, by teasing a little and at some point making a legendary one appear, for example.
Everyone could have found something to do after an hour, and the most patients would have been rewarded.

Instead, we found ourselves staring at a screen that hardly changes, if not not at all.
It's ridiculous and it really feels like we're being taken for idiots who have nothing better to do in their lives...

Is that what the Pokémon Company wants to tell us? That we only have a 0.00012207031% chance of seeing a simple pokémon?

Everything is a failure in this live show.
No effort has been made.
Nothing moves, no ferns, grass or leaves are shaken by the wind. We only see luminous balls (a very amateur effect).
MUSIC: Likewise no effort.
A few crystalline notes that repeat themselves over and over again, that's all. What about the sounds of nature? Wind in the leaves, herbs, pokémon cries? Well, we hear them very, very rarely.

I am almost disgusted and I would have preferred them to do nothing rather than show something so mediocre.

During the stream, I looked up actual nature cams and found one placed by an Alaskan river with bears near small falls catching salmon trying to jump and birds floating on and occasionally diving into the river for fish.
It was cool because there were 3 bears in view and they all behaved differently. One just kinda waited for salmon to float into its mouth while the other actively pounced to catch the fish.
Maybe their goal was to instill a love of research by making our nature exciting compared to the Pokemon world's.

Really, if there's anything we can say, it's that whoever put the camera here in-lore is a fucking dipshit and an awful scientist because they picked a location with very little range, out in the open where the Pokemon can notice/fuck with it, and in a location where Pokemon very sparsely actually show up. Generally you'd point the camera at a point of activity such as a nest or hunting grounds but this is just some random clearing that a tiny handful of pokemon have passed through across an entire fucking day.

They did do some nature sounds (water rushing, bird chirps and hoots) but it was kinda pathetically thrown in and had no relation to anything happening.
The pokemon cries were pretty alright, until we heard Morelull for the umpteenth time.

There have been consistent updates since E3 with multiple Pokemon a month in

- June (Wooloo, Gossifleur, Eldegoss, Drednaw Corviknight, Yamper, Impidimpm, Zacian, Zamazenta)
- July (Alcremie, Rolycoly, Duraludon)
- August (Obstagoon, Morpeko, Alolan Weezing, Alolan Zigzagoon, Alolan Linoone)
- September (Cramorant, Polteageist, Sirfetch'd)
- And we just got Alolan Ponyta in October.

Almost all of these have also been specifically within the first 10 days of the month. This has been very consistent and regular, and is far more regular a release of information than the vast majority of video game franchises.

I'm not sure what you people expect if almost perfectly consistent monthly new reveals isn't enough for you.

I think it is just more news in general. If you open the advertising with btw we are making a huge cut to the game for other stuff, the expectation is they will then blow you away with the other stuff. And no that doesn't mean reveal everything, the fact that everyone assumes a lot of news means they have nothing left is telling. Expectations are low and GF still isn't meeting them.
