Why do Essentials fangames run so poorly? Is there something I'm missing, or do they all just drop frames like crazy, and feel like shit to play?

Fangame general, I guess.

It's just retards not knowing how to use the tools they're given. It's not RPG Maker's fault since I know everyone played an RPG Maker porn game in their and they run well.

I'm with OP on this one. They can't ALL be that bad at making games. I've never played a single Fangame that runs well, no matter how long it's in development. Even the very best quality ones are only ever just "kinda shitty". There needs to be a new engine.

There a multiple different versions of RPG maker and I bet most porn games don't use anything more that the base engine. Shit like essentials uses heavy scripting and likely doesn't use the engine in ways it's intended thus causing issues.
