No reason they couldn't just take Rapidash's rig and replace the model with Zebstrika or Sawsbuck or something, while doing the same for other Pokémon.

the wild area is probably one of the shittiest open world section i ever witnessed, imagine making fantasy games about magical creatures and shit and all you can come up with the world is around it is one large, flat empty plain that you can only traverse with a bike while wearing pajamas
