I can't think of that many things that would be that good with it. Also you have more offensive items that can be used on fully evolved mons than defensive ones.

So probably not, probably barely worth using except for ingame.

so what you're asking for is for an item that makes NFE mons into glass cannons that may or may not attack once and then die? It'd be useless becuase fully evolved mons can already do that with Z-crystals.

Nobody actually uses Eviolite so probably not

Honestly I'd rather have Eviolite get buffed to work across all stats and just make it a pseudo evolution

Even if they're not competitively viable that'd be pretty cool to see those sort of monstrous Mega Mewtwo exceeding stats on an NFE Pokemon

Scyther, Doublade, Archen (ignoring its ability), Gastly, Magmar, Abra, Porygon2, Haunter & Kadabra could also see some usage from that thanks to their Speed Stats being not god awful.

Oh yeah, although Rhydon would still be kinda useless given 45 Base S.DEF is kinda terrible for a Pokemon with Quad Weaknesses against Grass and Water

it's a choice item without the drawback of only having one move. Imagine if banded sneasel could click Pursuit AND Ice shard AND Icicle Crash. It would be just better than choiced pokemon of the same species. It's a better Life Orb on them, without the recoil.

offensive eviolite porygon 2 seems like a good candidate for a trick room 'mon. 60 speed is low enough, 85/90/95 bulk is good enough to set up as it can fully invest into one defensive stat and with both offensive eviolite and download boosting it's sp-atk it would hit like a truck

Yeah, but in virtually all these cases its still usually worse than its Evolution holding pretty much any offensive item.

If you skim through that list, you'll really figure out that your options of what you can use that's just not automatically outclassed by its evolution is staggeringly low. Yes, there are Pokemon like Rhydon, Scyther, and Electabuzz that could potentially carve there own niche, but NOTHING in here is going to be broken compared to OU level threats. Offensive eviolite would just bump up a few mons a tier or two, which is exactly why you'd make it.
