Basically, Ash embellishes everything 'bad' with Kanto and Red embellishes everything 'good' with Kanto. And since they only give a fuck about Kanto it's all they post about. So, obviously, they make shit-quality posts comparing Red and Ash.
In other words, Ash is essentially a christ-like figure to them. They torture and sacrifice their nostalgia for him to further wank their 'perfect' Kanto, which Red embodies.
Red(dit) faggots are nothing more than overgrown children in a cult, dedicated to 'killing' Ash, who embodies what is flawed in Kanto, and worshipping Red, who embodies what is 'perfect' in Kanto. Red is their avatar, their symbol of their faith and love in Kanto.
You can mock me, but you all know that these words are the truth. Ash is the 'devil' that destroys Kanto by moving past it and Red is the 'prophet' that saves Kanto by stagnating in Kanto. In contradiction, Ash is also the Christ-figure in this belief system due to him being sacrificed for the 'sins' of everything after Kanto and even more interestingly, Ash is Red. Ash is the Red that moved past Kanto and Red is the Ash that never left Kanto.
