BotW isn't the only game on Switch with voice acting. Fire Emblem and Xenoblade Chronicles 2 both had excellent voice acting.

Because there's literally only 2 Nintendo games with voice acting that wasn't embarrassingly bad. I don't trust them to not fuck another thing up with this game.

Why would I specifically want voice-acting I can't understand? If the games always a had an English dub I could see wanting the original Japanese audio, but as it is now why would I ever think, "Gee, I sure wish these characters were speaking Japanese right now"?

American dubs of japanase games don't have the same care put into as their original counterpart, simple as that.
While japanese games have big profile Voice Actors, for american dubs of japanese they pick Joe#2301 wich has subpar skills and no direct guidance from the original development team.
