Sweet Veil, the THIRD ability that prevents sleep exists because it was made in the Era were game freak loves to give stuff stupid themes and thought pokemon that smell good needed their own anti sleep ability for some reason.
Emergency Exit and Wimp Out is more stupid thematic shit, cause obviously it'd be weird it Golisopod had an ability called Wimp Out... But it wouldn't be weird for Wimpod to have an ability called Emergency Exit, so yeah, it's pointless.
