Gen 2 was so foreign to me because I never got to actually play a Gen 2 game until around the time Gen 3 was already out. It blew my mind when I learned FRLG had Johto Pokemon in the Sevii Islands and I absolutely loved playing Pokemon Crystal when a friend gave it to me as a gift. The Space World demo stuff just made me love Johto even more. Although, as much as I love Gen 2, I would've done so many things different. The monster availability kind of sucked but it was better than DP's line up. Mareep and Magmar being Gold exclusives was stupid.
