>>40278703I can totally see that, I think everyone engages with RPGs in different ways. Just the other day I had an argument with a friend who doesn't see the point of customizing the clothes of the player character and so on, which you'd think would be a universally liked feature, but people really do have different ways to playing them.
In my book, I kind of default to the characters depictions as they are. Maybe I'm a barren person with no imagination I dunno but I can safely say that when I think Incineroar I have a whole persona that I enjoy from him, while if you asked me the same about Infernape, I would just say "Yeah neat design".
