>Pokemon pearl released
>play it every day,
>had a hot teacher that never gave homework or projects
>would always be playing with my friends
>youtube was not being fucked over with rules and money
>no stress related to money and work

I still remember being confused as to why my luxray was yellow while Volkner's was blue. I miss the innocent days of me struggling through victory road because I couldn't figure out the strength puzzle and had a team consisting of a grossly overleveled Empoleon and a slightly less overleveled Luxray and 4 other shitters I thought looked cool
