They were essential part of the hype season before the games launch, now there's not corocoro leaks, no trailers, not even clear official info. SWSH hype season sucks... because it has zero hype.

After all, up until a few years ago, magazines and fan websites were the primary gatekeepers of Pokemon news — the company relied on this, and probably made deals with advertisers like CoroCoro to always give them some sort of scoop in exchange for marketing their franchise. But now TPC has a strong social media presence, worldwide releases for their games, and thus no longer needs a local magazine to get the word out anymore.

Social media + worldwide releases = no need for Corocoro

You fags shite on Game Freak for being behind the times, yet want to go back to when they released westside 9-12 months after the Jap releases, just so you can relive your childhood.
