X/Y evolution introduced yet it's so stupid to give every potential mega evolving pokemon two potential stages so only 2 pokemon get it. This already shits on mega evolutions because they aren't consistent with the hype they started.
1 stage evo's can get it
2 stage evo's can get it
3 stages evo's can get it
Legendaries and Mythical can get it
There's literally ~1000 pokemon
Can't keep everyone satisfied. Yet their selection process is extremely random.
Instead of this dumbass approach it could've been
Every 3 stage evolution gets to mega evolution.
Pokemon X can potential change or add to your typing while Y keeps the typing.
This inability to mainstream their concepts is the reason why Mega evolutions suffer and so did Z-Moves.
