What if the true reason Gamefreak doesn't officialy reveal Impidimp is because it is the singular Pokemon of this generation? (The Mew/Celebi/Jirachi/Manaphy/Victini/Hoopa/Marshadow of this generation)

They could have always been placeholder stats. They did do that for the Pokemon you can't fight in the SM demo like Alolan Dugtrio.

It's swaggering in the livestream reminded me of the old original Bigfoot footage, maybe it's meant to be like a cryptid - rare, and most people don't believe in it - so they haven't added it to the site because "lore".

GameFreak do seem to be going harder on the whole lore thing and making some of the Pokémon reveals "interesting" this time around (livestream for Ponyta, the glitch thing for Sirfetch)

These stats are just false. Corviknight's conflicts with the treehouse stats, and there is zero chance a STARTER would have that high of one stat.

Except we've gotten early Mythical reveals before. Magearna was literally the first known Gen 7 Pokemon.

It's almost definitely something like that. It was actually first seen on the map and gigantamax trailer as part of the Nazca Lines style petroglyphs. Those little things surrounding the big one are definitely Impidimp. The big thing is either an evo, an unknown legendary, or maybe even Eternatus.

Note that it has a gender in the demo, which so far no Mythical has ever had. Of course we've already had an evolving Mythical, breedable Mythicals, and gendered Legendaries so anything is possible at this point.

Yeah, marshadow's design really bucks the trend, depending on how you want to count the wisps on its body. Cause its Z-form has 6 glowing wisps, but its feet are still the same, so do you count its visible leg as one?

if Impidimp sneaking into trailers is on purpose and there's an in-game lore reason for it, Sw/Sh might actually be saved
I mean, the first time we saw him was on the water gym, where he doesn't belong in at all, this time was in a magical forest where he belongs, but spent the whole time cockblocking the viewer from seeing the MLPonyta
and we still don't have an official announcement regarding this motherfucker, it has to be on purpose
