How come there is no daytime equivalent to the dusk ball? It would be the dawn ball and it would do the same thing as the dusk ball except for daytime players.

Wouldn't be equivalent. Dusk ball also works in caves and other dark places. Dawn Ball could only conceivably work inside man made buildings and wild pokemon indoors doesn't really work.

Cinnabar Mansion and the ghost tower are two examples of wild Pokemon indoors from Gen 1 alone. There's a bunch more from the games after those too.

I hate the dusk ball because of how asymmetrical it is. Starting with X & Y, they removed a green circle that was on the back of dusk ball. Now it only has 5 green circles instead of 6.
