>>40312332This is all opinion, but I agree that tacking human elements to Pokemon doesn't make the design better or even equally good. Weezing is a good design in spite of the top hat, not because of it. The design is ultimately lazy because it doesn't change much aside from adding the top hat which is a design element that doesn't look at all natural. Same can be said for Sirfetch'd which is even worse being an evolution, yet the changes are so insignificant that its hard to even call it an evolution. Both are lazy and good examples of how far the quality has dropped.
