While it is a bit feminine, namely Bayleef and Chikorita, but they aren't overly "feminine" where as Primarina is pretty obviously feminine. I don't see an issue with either one personally, but that's the "gripe".

Primarina's got eyeleashes, long humanoid hair, and a pearl necklace around its neck.
It's clearly designed to be female, like how Machamp or Conkeldurr are designed to be male.

Chikorita is my favorite and very useful for a starting trainer with all of it's utility. What it lacks in pure punching power is made up for in useful status effects, general bulk, access to an early game high crit move, and later access to walls to setup defensively for your team. It also evolves into a big sweet scented flower dinosaur you can ride around. Thank you anon, we're going to have a great time out there.
