>>40318369I have an example of both, and both are very bad.
>too much disciplineThe kid eventually "explodes" and does everything that was ever forbidden/frowned upon all at once, as a way to stick it to their parents and also "discover" themselves/the world. I had a friend whose mother was insanely controlling and would punish her for literally breathing sometimes. One day she sneaked out and went to some underage party a sport club nearby my school organized from time to time, and a.. hoodlum? Don't know if that's the word, but one of those guys grabbed her, pinned her against a wall and forcibly made out with her while groping her ass (first kiss, first everything). When she told us we were very scared and sorry for her but she just "No.. no...I...I actually liked it! I didn't know such a feeling existed!" aaaand then she became a turbo slut who'd always disrespect her mother and anyone near her, and then had a pregnancy scare at 14. She even admitted to trying anal at that age with older dudes (17ish)
>lack of disciplineHe literally set his fucking house on fire simply because he thought it'd be funny and instead of being punished his father gave him chocolate ice cream afterwards. Nowadays he's more "calm" and on the outside looks like a really polite and healthy guy, but the moment things don't go his way or he's denied something he starts to sperg out like you've never seen, yelling stuff like "STUPID BITCH, WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE, I KNOW WHAT'S BEST, YOU CAN'T CONTROL ME".
So yeah, both end up very bad. On one side they send you to hell and do everything you never wanted them to, and on the other they become entitled shits for the rest of their lives.
