1. Don't understand how number reviews work (i.e. 7/10 = avg)
2. Don't understand how to review something properly (i.e. lack critical thinking)
3. Don't actually buy the game and are kneejerk reviews based on pre-release information. (i.e. some controversy and they stand on 1 side of it and review it either 0/10 or 10/10 only based on controversy, and nothing to do with the game itself)
Reviews in general don't matter, but at least critic reviews, even if they're paid shills, actually contain objective information about the games that you can read, and just ignore opinions of the reviewer. User reviews tend to just be not thought out at all, with a small number of exceptions that actually put thought into the review itself.
