most of them were garbage, either incomplete romhacks like "frigo returns" or games that werent even really pokemon, like pokemon jade.
however, there was one that seemed like a real pokemon game, but actually a lot better. it was the only ds game he sent me, as all the other games were on GBA or GBC.
it was called pokemon white.
it was just like a pokemon game, except all the monsters were original. they looked like pokemon, had the same types, moves, etc, but were all new. it almost felt like a lost region of pokemon except it was a complete game.
Its not a romhack either, the pokemon move in battle unlike diamond and pearl, and it ran faster than diamond and pearl. the overworld also seemed a lot more 3d, and theres 3d cutscenes too.
plus it had a real story.
Its been a while since i played it, but its really hard to go back to playing pokemon for real after playing that bootleg.
i wish whoever made that bootleg worked for gamefreak..
