I don't understand why people are so eager to compare all the XB games as if they aren't RADICALLY different from each other. As far as I'm concerned, these games are only tied to each other in name alone. XCX's Skell system completely changes how you play the game halfway through (and feels like a MMORPG), XC1 is a strange JRPG with a lot of peculiar artistic decisions and influences, and XC2 is just full-on weebshit. I share absolutely no expectations between these games, and as far as combat systems go, I have to completely change the way I play them or I'm fucked from a progression perspective.
