Reminder that Ash wont beat Kukui. The league final was the semi-final, and him losing to kukui still follows the same old ashnime writing pattern

I disagree, the entire point of him losing was to push him off on the next region cuz he lost the league. But he won. Winning/Losing holds no differences here, he's still the champion

They're making a new anime though so there's really no reason to do that. It'd just be a spit in the face to Ash. Why not let the dude win and be a Pokemon Master in Alola before never talking about him again. I think ending the series on him being a loser is a bit silly and kinda spits in the face of his "I wanna be a Pokemon Master!" Aspiration
