>>40346231I hate that I love Pokemon so much. Despite everything incorrect with S&S, its devs and team leads especially, I am still... excited for it. There have been many more negatives shown off about it than positives, but I am still waiting for the next reveal or news drop. As we near the homestretch of the games' release date, I am anxiously awaiting "the great datamine" like there were for both SM and USUM, to, in a sense, really sell them to me. There is much wrong with the mainline games alone, and even more problems come about as we advance further into the franchise. But, regardless of it all, I still end up enjoying each one for what it is. From the protagonists befriending their starter Pokemon, right down to... defeating the final boss and watching the credits play, since the games don't really have a postgame anymore. Does that make me a shill? Perhaps I will not feel as guilty if I purchase a used copy or two instead. I can't even trade to myself anymore to evolve Pokemon.
