When I finished my computer and got to actually play modern pc games for the 1st time since 2003. Had it for a little over a year and a fucking power outage a couple nights ago killed it and the ups/surge protector it was connected to. I've been too scared to check any of my consoles because I'm between jobs right now and can't afford to fix any of it any time soon, and shit hasn't been going well for me in general this year so I need every scrap of hope I can get.

Thanks man, I'm hoping it's just a dead power supply and I can pick up a temporary replacement to at least get up and running again soon, but problem is those tend to take other components with them when they suddenly die like that.

Pokemon Ultra Sun

I think the story and the cutscenes are total garbage but damn it was a very fun and comfy time playing through it for the first time. Also helps that I didn't play Sun or Moon beforehand

I wish it was easier to get legendaries in ultra warp ride. I played ultra moon and went back to Y and omega ruby because it was easier to get yveltal, entei, mewtwo, azelf, mespirit, colbalion, etc.

just get something that will passively produce you money and then be patient, just slowly let that money build it up and never waste on anything(specially women).

I really enjoyed them when they came out, but they came out at the right time for me
I had just moved across the country and felt really bad about myself and didn't have it in me to make new friends, because my old friends were all cruel to me when they found out I was leaving
and so dp came out very shortly afterwards, and gave me my own little world that wouldn't be taken away from me, filled with new friends and accomplishments that made me feel good about myself again
I think gen 4 saved me from becoming an awful 4chan boy, honestly

To be completely honest X/Y. It was the first 3D pokemon game and it had a lot of new enjoyable shit. I actually spent a lot of time in Amie and enjoying the big change of pace in the series. I hardly even noticed how shit the plot and characters were. /vp/ was in relative harmony for the first 5 months of release and Friend Safari, Trade Generals and the like were amazing. Lots of positive interaction, fresh meta with lots of cool shit and early experimental builds, fun shitposting. It was perfect.

Unfortunately it also meant most of what i wanted in the series had already been achieved by these games, so i'm pretty much burnt out at the comparatively minor upgrades we've seen since then (and in the case of online, downgrades). Unless we see another huge jump, i don't think i can enjoy Pokemon again. Especially because we're still getting what is virtually an upscaled 3DS game instead of the big game other Nintendo franchises have delivered. Maybe i'll return to the franchise in 2030. It seems feasible to think we'll get a big jump by then, right?

It's fun, classwork is stimulating and at that point you still have a desire to learn. I had the best teachers of my life in elementary School.
Besides that I lost all my friends after elementary school. No one went to the same high-school and I could never form bonds with new people. I can't even name a single person I graduated with, adult life has been the same way. The only social interaction I get with people is on here.
