>>40351912Sure. In terms of level design, I love how FromSoft focuses on having branching paths that fold onto each other. The feeling of exploring and finding hidden shortcuts or side paths that offer rewards for people willing to explore.
As for storytelling, I think it's a lot more fun trying to piece the story together yourself and seeing how other people interpret them. The way FromSoft does it with their environments and enemies instead of using cutscenes and dialogue to tell the whole story just feels way more engaging to me.
I'd honestly love to see a pokemon game using this philosophy to game developing. Whether as a main entry or spin-off.
