Feraligatr has very usable stats with sheer force and some great move options: swords dance, aqua jet, dragon dance, ice punch, outrage, superpower, etc.
Meganium is pretty shit at everything which is unfortunate. I love Bayleef's design, I wish it had stayed more like that for its final evo.
GF only hates 1/3 of the johto starters.
