Nobody in their right mind thinks the games will bomb, but you are delusional as fuck if you think TPCs decision to fucking divide the fanbase like this isn't going to be reflected in sales. These WILL be the worst selling games yet, they will still be profitable however.

A handful of entitled crybabies isn't a divide. You're delusional if you think there's actually a substantial amount of people who are actually going to not but the game because of some missing Pokemon they forgot about. I doubt these games will sell worse than any of the 3rd versions.

Nah, they'll outsell all sorts of games, from Let's Go to US/UM, etc.

I don't see how anyone can spin 12+ million as bad if you take into account the Switch's install base vs. Nintendo's DS, 3DS, etc., plus the $60 price tag, though I'm sure this board will try its hardest.

It's Pokemon, no shit it's bad.
That has never stopped people from buying it like candy. The only reason dexfags aren't overlooking the rest of the game's flaws like usual is entirely because of the culling. I remember shitting on the visuals here before that was announced, and surprise surprise, drones defended the shit graphics.

Dropping 4 million sales would be a massive deal as it would be an indicator that interest in the games is dropping again after almost two decades of relative stability.
