The "explorable cities" are not big, and also reuse tilesets and more like hell. 12 gigas for that game is just insane. I have to presume this is because of the voice-acting for all languages being in the same cartridge.

This is pretty surprising considering how much of that total has to be dedicated to uncompressed audio. The game itself without the dialogue must be around half that.
