Anon, I know you are scientifically illiterate, but allow me to pointificate upon the consequences of Magcargo being hotter than the sun.

Current estimates from experiment give us around 5788 K for the averaged temperature of the sun.
According to pedopedia, Magcargo is 0.8m tall and weighs 55 Kg.
Q: What sort of radiation might we experience from being near magcargo?

A: We use Stefan-Boltzman law to estimate the net power/area = intensity with the inverse square law at a distance d, for simplicity let d = 1.0m, thats how close you are to magcargo. Ill estimate only half the radiation from magcargo hits you from where you are standing, i cant be bothered with solid angles for you retards.

P = 0.5 * A * sigma * epsilon * (T^4 - T_0^4)

where
P is the power due to black body radiation you are experiencing
A is the area of magcargo, A = 4 * pi * r^2 = ca. 8.0m^2
epsilon is the emissitivty of magcargo (we assume black body) so its 1.0
sigma = stefan boltzman constant, around 5.67 * 10^-8
T is the temperature of the sun / magcargo
T_0 is the ambient temperature (lets say room temperature, about 20 C or 293 K)

Ill be very generous and assume you are mostly water, and not just a big fat lard whale, so we will use the specific heat of water. Ill also be generous and assume you weigh no more than 100 kg. Phew.
Then the heat transfer to you is

P * dt = m * c * dT

where
m is your mass 100 kg
c is the specific heat of water 4182 j / K / kg at around 293 K
dT is the temperature change (K)
and dt is the time change (s)

P/ (mc) = dT/dt

Ok lets calculate how much your body temperature changes per second.

dT/dt = 608 K/s.

So it will take about 1/60th of a second
one FPS VSYNC frame
for all the water in your body to instantly boil you alive as you die the most gruesome horrible death from being near magcargo.
You will literally explode and melt at the same time from the pressure of the water inside you.

You're retarded, Magcargo is 18,000 degrees Fahrenheit. A Bolt of lighting is over 50,000 degrees Fahrenheit. There's no way simply being within 1 meter of it would boil you alive in 1/60th of a second.

When lightning strikes a tree, the heat vaporizes any water in its path possibly causing the tree to explode or a strip of bark to be blown off.

You are welcome to stand 1 meter away from the sun if you like. I mean the heat is one thing, but the ionizing radiation will kill you quickly too

Out of curiosity, how hot would Primal Groudon have to be to evaporate an olympic-sized swimming pool in under a second? Surely it'd need to be hot enough to instantly kill any terrestrial life form in a fairly wide radius, right?

Fun with math aside, though, it should be obvious that the Pokemon world runs on magic and/or toon force way more than it does traditional physics. Calculations are fun and all but the Pokemon world only works because it's not real and as such is unbound by the laws of reality.

Maybe the physics are right and is just that the humans int he pokemon world are on a league of their own, either in games, anime or manga, you can see them survive things like being impaled or hyperbeamed to the face, or strong enought to carry larvitar on the shoulder like a parrot even if it weights 160 lbs., or plfy on top of confirmed supersonic pokemon and survive, etc

Pikachu blowing up this mountain should've resulted in shockwaves, debris, and a tsunami, but it just doesn't. Actions don't need to have proportional consequences in the Pokemon world.
