>>40367441>OSCharizard had a lot of development and is insanely powerful but Ash didn't train him to be so powerful and he evolved too quickly. Even so, he has a memorable and entertaining personality and had actual flaws it had to resolve. While its training was lackluster and it grew too strong too quickly, I can not deny his personality and strength is his saving grace.
7/10
>AGMy memories of this era are vague but I recall Sceptile underwent considerable training and character development to become capable of tussling with legendary pokemon. The fact that I can't remember anything else (and never see anyone discussing it) tells me it was likely mediocre though.
Likely 6/10
>DPInfernape had insane build-up, character development and considerable training to get to where he was by the end of the Sinnoh journey and was extremely powerful.

>BWDidn't watch lol
>XYGreninja's power development had a great deal more build-up than Charizard or Infernape but Greninja has no memorable character or development.
6/10
>SMIt's hard to pinpoint the ace here, Lycanroc or Incineroar? I'll say Lycanroc due to being the last mon standing in the league and having build-up. Lycanroc had much on-screen training and notable character development albeit I think the "hates getting dirty" shit was retarded. Regardless, Lycanroc is a powerful pokemon for tussling with Gladion's Lycanroc and Kukui's Incineroar (who can match and easily overpower Melmetal). I'd say Lycanroc is as strong or stronger than Sceptile and seems to have more of a personality, training development and character development.
7/10
>Overall based on power, personality, training and character developmentInfernape >> Lycanroc = Charizard > Greninja > Sceptile
