This. Affleck probably only saw promotion materials, that‘s why he didn‘t said anything. E.g. he didn‘t say the type of any starter except scorbunny beeing pure „fighting“, and I think he meant sirfetched but typed it wrong

Maybe, so far we have been assuming sffleck was a play tester, but everything he say is stuff we saw in trailer. If he actually had play the game all the way to the fourth gym he would know way more than what he leaked.

He didn't saw promotions, he played Sword. Probably a beta tester. That's why he thought Zacian and Zamazenta were the same pokémon with different forms, didn't knew Sirfetch'd was version exclusive and knew Eternatus only by name

It also works the other way around, there are many things that were shown in trailers and weren't mentioned by Affleck: Corviknight, Drednaw, Gossifleur, Eldegoss, curry stuff, Impidimp, Ponyta, Zigzagoon, Linoone, Obstagoon, Alcremie, Rolycoly , Duraludon, Morpeko, Polteageist, Bea, Allister...

You are a grasping retard. There's nothing beyond 4th gym and given how little they've been trickling out, I doubt they're going to break that habit before launch. Doubting if they will show off the final starter stages now, when they had revealed the middle stages by this stage in the past 2 launch cycles.

You are retarded for assuming they're showing off the final evolutions this time anon. Especially when they've been severely limiting what they have been showing off this time out. I'm not so sure they will show off the final forms, hell Masuda's talking about it in interviews and unlike the past 2 Generations, we're into roughly 30 days to launch and have yet to have the first stage evos revealed to us.

The final evos are normaly reveal in the month the game releases. So those aren't gonna be in tomorrow trailer but in the one after.

Also I don't think we are going to see eternatus but it's name was reveal in the same day as in which the box legendaries were reveal. Affleck didn't know anything about Eternatus besides it's name.

Correnting myself, the final forms of the starter in gen VI were "reveal" in coro coro days after the game came out.

So in other words, the gen VI starter never had their final evos officially reveal before the game came out.

But this doesn't mean they can't realease a post launch trailer with final evos in it.

It's not everything, but it could be one of a few things:

-GF/TPC marketing circled the content drip around the leak to control the amount of pre-release info being pushed.
-The leak was somehow deliberate and from the marketing end as opposed to just some disgruntled employee.

Bonus

-Afflek leaker is actually a bit more traceable internally as he would have been let go after seeing all of the promotional footage aside from the early portions of the game he played, making him part of a relatively small grouping of people.
