I've always wished we could get a Pokémon game where you can choose which order to battle the gym leaders in and they dynamically change their line ups.

Imagine fighting Brock last in Kanto and facing:

Onix
Aerodactyl
Omastar
Kabutops
Golem

That'd be fucking amazing. Be really cool to see how people would choose to start the game. You could choose starters based on the Pokémon around the town you start in.

Yeeeeah, in hindsight I probably went a bit overboard with this one. It generally takes a few redos before finding that perfect balance between appropriately challenging and not Reborn-tier shit.
This was my first Falkner. I feel like Natu fits him better but my main reasoning for Murkrow was that it's used in his rematch team.

Hm, that COULD work. It'd certainly surprise people without being too much of an advantage considering the simple nature of his team's movesets... I think that's pretty good.

Also here's Whitney whom I feel I went just a little too hard with. Just remove Lickitung from the equation if it seems to be so.

Anon, why not, instead of sticking to just Misdreavus and the Gastly line, give Morty Pokemon who are ethereal (or at least learn Ghost moves) like Stantler. DP did it, and LGPE's E4 attempts to avoid repeated mon lines as well, so there is precedent.
