I get why Arceus is Normal type, but if it didn't have the plate gimmick and wasn't Normal type what would you retype it to based on its design?
I say Psychic/Dragon. hit me with other retypes too I love that

I feel like the major issue with Arceus is that no type really fits it. The lore states that it's the closest thing to a creator deity in the series, and how does one even go about typing something so grandeous? I'd say if any Pokemon deserved a unique typing, it'd be Arceus. Make it Holy type or something and it just straight up doesn't get touched by anything. Of course you can't do that because it needs to be able to function with game balance, but from a purely lore stance it really shouldn't have a type imo.
