You need a lgpe save file on switch to obtain the gigantamax pikachu or eevee. Not the pokemon from lgpe

Just borrow from a friend and play for awhile. If we just need a save file you can just save near the beginning. Unless we are required to reach a certain pt in lgpe

No, only the pikachu and eevee obtained using lgpe can gigantamax. Normal pikachu and eevee can only dynamax.

Gigantamax is like a Timed Mega Evo (changed form ability and such) on top of growing big.
Dyna is just growing in size but I suppose it's more like a Totem Pokemon boost. (Just Giant but supposedly for all pokemon).
