Right, like 3-4 other people have said this, but from what I can tell Monstrap is just Crawdaunt but way bulkier with high HP and good defences + intimidate, and only at the expense of Adaptability and like 10 base attack, Monstrap is also naturally faster too by like 20 points iirc so it's not outsped by slow tanks

yeah, you get flash from a dude earlier in one of the cities. but you can also catch a hitmonana on the route right before rock tunnel which learns it by leveling up. if you want i can just post a map of rock tunnel for you

I think it's more that Baitmaster has a better typing/stat spread for ingame at least, but you're not wrong, there's nothing bad about Monstrap persay

It's great. I'm holding off on evolving Pignite until it gets Flare Blitz so Excadrill's been the main damage dealer. Swords Dance/Metal Claw/X-Scissor/EQ. It's beefy enough to tank most stuff so you can slip at least one Dance in.
