Nah the bell is dumb. The right with the symbol on the coin and the glowy eyes gives it this other wordly mostery feel. Gamefreaks version is the better design.

The glowing eyes and what I guess is a kanji on the coin make the right one stand out more.
Also it looks taller too because the clouds are around the chet instead of on top of him.

Game Freak did the sense of scale better and highlighted how big it was well. The fan did everything else better. I do like the glowing eyes on GF's Meowth but it doesn't cut it when the fan did literally everything else better.

Right.
The glowing eyes and marking on its charm are excellent touches. Arms are posed better. Perspective is nicer. Head, feet, and tail aren't as stupidly large.
