Speaking as someone who's been in this franchise since the beginning, gen 1's my least favorite, so all this damn constant pandering is long past irritating.
I'm already at the point of "not going to buy it, but still keeping an eye on /vp/ to see what the new Pokemon look like", but even that's starting to wane.
Seeing more Gen 1 Pokemon announced today actually, literally made me seethe.
