I can't even fucking enjoy something simple that's already within the game without Gamefreak monetizing it in some way.

your best course of action is to pay for LGPE on Amazon, get the save file on your Switch and refund it.

And hundreds, maybe even thousands of other games, do the exact same thing.

Being mad about something like this just seems so manchildish. Like a whiny baby that doesn’t have anything else to cry about.

LGPE came out a year ago. You had more than enough time to play them. And even if you didn’t support it, you still don’t have to, because you can go into any retail store that has a games section, but the games, do literally one save at the very beginning, return them, and get your $120 back.

This is literally the most inconsequential thing to be mad about. GameFreak rewarding players who played the previous titles, and incentivizing those who haven’t to give it a go, or like I said, buy it and immediately return it.

Actually no. I can't think of a single modern game that asks you to buy the previous one for a piece of content. It is an archaic concept and seems like something more likely out of an old toy company nowadays.

Plus second hand game retailers are dead in my country. We just get games online either from retailers or other people.
